Anyone who wishes to volunteer at Hortons Creek Elementary must register with WCPSS as a volunteer. Registration must be updated each school year and Now can be done at home. Please click here to register:  WCPSS Volunteer Registration Site 

Volunteering at our school will give you the opportunity to interact with the students and teachers, build a network with other parents, and truly make a different in our school community. There will be many opportunities for you to assist us this year and we highly encourage everyone to volunteer for at least one event this school year.

Our Community Service Committee works hard to provide food and necessities to a dozen families in our school that lack access to proper nutrition and food services. Each month we collect specific items in order to create packages for students to take home over the weekend, guaranteeing food on their table. If you would like more information, please contact waysandmeans@hortonscreekpta.com.

The goal of our No Hungry Hawks program is to provide shelf-stable, supplemental items for families enrolled in our school’s program (including a snack for school days) to make sure that all students have food and nourishment over the weekends and school breaks.
